Left out in the rain
Washed of you again
We burned until our weather gave up
Heaven knows we were never too much
Too young to pretend
Swallow, keep it in
Counted with a heaven-less touch
Heaven knows we were never too much
Chased our days to a radiant close
Now I can’t go back to whatever I was
We played out like an echoing drum
We were beaten, but I still feel a thump
Childhood games and their menacing ends
When the streets go cold and the neighbourhood bends
You found me in the deafening hush
We were something
We were never too much
Thunder when you came
Scared myself again
Shelter was my heart in your trust
I need you to know it was always enough
Little one in the world
It was love that you had
There’s a knock at the door
Don’t forget what you came for

I LOVE this band. they never disappoint and every time I hear them it's a different growing sound. GAMMA KNIFE has been stuck in my head for a long while. I have their other records but i've never owned this. Ya know, it kicks major ass! nickvoid
Guitars so jagged you could cut yourself on them and sneering spoken/sung lyrics make “Red Dirt” a post-punk powerhouse. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 3, 2023

Hard to pick a favourite on this pearler of an album. It sounds like there's 3 or 4 different singers on this. Great stories, Great songs, Great band! Liam Melville
